Our Blueberry Lemonade is a slushy of sorts, which is the reason it is our children's most asked for beverage on a sweltering summer day.

Just that is simply part of the story. Our Blueberry Lemonade includes a brilliant table-top gathering that the children (and grown-ups!) basically simply go insane for.

We begin off with a customary lemonade formula with new lemon juice, sugar, and cold water blended — in the blender — to make sure that the majority of the sugar is broken down. We at that point include ice 3D shapes and mix into a sweet lemon slush. Fill tall glasses or in a reasonable pitcher that can withstand solidified beverages, and present with since quite a while ago dealt with frosted tea spoons.

For the Blueberry sauce
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2  lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp water

For the Frozen Lemonade
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
  • 2/3 cup lemon juice ( fresh squeezed)
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 6 cups ice

Blueberry Sauce
  1. In a small saucepan, combine blueberries, water, sugar and a splash of lemon juice. Bring to a boil.
  2. In a small bowl, mix 2 tsp water and cornstarch until combined.
  3. Add to blueberries and reduce heat. Cook for about 2 minutes until it thickens. Refrigerate to cool.

Frozen Lemonade
  1. Once the blueberry sauce is cool
  2. Combine lemon cold water, lemon juice and sugar in a blender. Blend for a few seconds until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Add ice and blend until thick and smooth. Pour in 2 large glasses
  4. Add cool blueberry sauce to the frozen lemonade and carefully swirl it around
  5. Top with more blueberry sauce
